We are very excited to release our most significant update to thunkjournal.com ever. Here's a thread of the most important updates based on user feedback πŸ‘‡

‍

‍

Backlinks (aka Bi-directional links)

Thunk now supports creating links in your writing by typing two square brackets β€œ[[β€œ. This powerful feature will help you find patterns in your thinking.

‍

‍

Daily Note

You can now edit a daily note that is always visible. We’ve moved disappearing text to a special mode described below

‍

‍

‍

Disappearing text is now focus mode

Just hit ⌘+/ and select β€œFocus Mode” to write with disappearing text

‍

‍

Side navigation

We’ve overhauled our navigation be moving it to a collapsible panel on the left side of the screen.

‍

‍

Easy access to dark mode

You can now turn dark mode on and off at any time right from the side panel.

‍

‍

Calendar navigation

On the Read Notes page you can now use a calendar to navigate to past entries. Days that you have entries are marked with a dot.

If you're someone looking to cultivate a daily writing practice or interested in personal knowledge management, I would love for you to try out Thunk while we are still in beta. Getting your input is invaluable. Head over to thunkjournal.com to secure a spot on our beta list.
